Life in 1900 is emerging, the railway has arrived, the line comes directly from Paris. Fouras was transformed before your very eyes from a fishing village into a seaside resort: Fouras les Bains.
The beautiful toilets of these ladies, who had come on holiday from Paris by train, rubbed shoulders with the knitted skins of the locals working in the oyster beds and occasionally at the Casino de Fouras les Bains.
