A ford at low tide, the passe aux bœufs, provides access. There is a car park at the entrance to the pass, so you don't have to drive there (and your car won't corrode!). The horse-drawn carriage will take you on a guided tour of the countryside, with the slow steps of the horses Florelle and Greta.
